HELL = GDP Growth
In 2024, men with an aura mark the marquee.
I met alot of morally ambiguous people in my time in Asia.
In fact, the morally ambiguous will flock there.
WERID huh?
Not so weird because to be Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, Democratic (WERID).
Is one hell of a life.
According to the book, The WEIRDest People in the World: How the West Became Psychologically Peculiar and Particularly Prosperous:
The concept of an afterlife contingent upon present behavior correlates with heightened economic productivity and reduced crime. A study outlined in the book, drawing from data spanning 1965 to 1995, suggests that a 20 percent rise in the populace's belief in both heaven and hell corresponds to a 10 percent increase in economic growth over the ensuing decade. Moreover, nations with a higher proportion of individuals who believe in hell exhibit lower homicide rates. Conversely, the inverse holds for those who solely believe in heaven: Countries where a larger segment of the population holds belief in heaven but not in hell tend to experience elevated murder rates.
Nations characterized by higher levels of patience, consistent behavioral patterns in social settings, trust in unfamiliar individuals, commitment to impartial standards, and consideration of intentions tend to exhibit increased GDP, enhanced economic productivity, reduced corruption, and heightened innovation rates.
Individuals from WEIRD (Western, Educated, Industrialized, Rich, and Democratic) societies demonstrate traits such as hyper-individualism, self-focused attitudes, nonconformity, analytical thinking, and a preference for consistency. They prioritize authenticity and strive to maintain their true selves across various social situations.
Most ideologies strive to dismantle the concept of family, yet some do so for the empowerment of the individual, who must answer to a Big God, or to empower society with more diverse kinship for the empowerment of Big Government.
